I have been programming professionally for over 12 years and have worked for/with many fascinating companies in several industries over my career. I’ve been a CTO of a wireless startup company, Senior Application Developer, Infrastructure Architect, and Project Manager in a variety of industries. My career has focused on developing dynamic web applications and exploring new verticals, especially with small and medium sized businesses. My specialties include: website development using ASP.NET, PHP, JavaScript, PERL, Cold Fusion, and JSP; application development using VB.NET, C#, and most recently Ruby and Python; database design and administration using SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and Access. I’ve also worked on projects that use technologies such as Microsoft Office InfoPath, SharePoint, and Crystal Reports. I can speak some Japanese, but I don’t read it very well. I’ve developed wireless web applications (for phones and PDAs), e-commerce stores, web search projects, mortgage lending technology, pharmaceutical portal development, and training.
